Enter SkinVision, the digital skin-health service
HIF entered a one-year partnership with SkinVision on 1 December 2025, giving our members access to SkinVision’s app and panel of certified dermatologists.
This partnership is designed to help HIF members identify potentially dangerous changes in their skin early and make it easy to share information with their GP or dermatologist.
How does SkinVision work?
To date, SkinVision has helped more than 3 million users worldwide to take control of their skin health. Designed to sit alongside the clinical care already available through our health cover products, SkinVision’s digital self-examination tool offers more clarity and confidence between routine skin checks.
Photos of moles or skin spots taken with the app can be reviewed by SkinVision’s panel of certified dermatologists. The panel provides guidance to help users decide whether to continue monitoring their skin, or seek medical assistance.
Are you eligible for SkinVision?
All active Hospital and Extras HIF policies include a free 12-month subscription to the SkinVision app, for members 18 years or older.
How do HIF members claim the free SkinVision subscription?
Just enter the promotional code (found in the Online Member Centre) when creating your SkinVision account within the HIF app.
