One of Australia's most exciting communicators, casey blends storytelling and science to help us all live happier, healthier lives.
For almost 20 years, Casey’s job has been to ask questions of our brightest minds on how to live a happier, healthier life. Along the way she found some answers, and now blends them with her passion for science and storytelling to deliver practical wisdom in a way that is entertaining as it is educational.
The award-winning health journalist hosted Channel 10’s Everyday Health and spent three seasons as lifestyle reporter on ABC TV’s Tonic under the guidance of her mentor Dr Norman Swan, now screening as part of the Tonic Direct system to millions of Australians each month. She is currently the resident wellbeing expert on Channel 10's Well Traveller and has written for many of Australia’s leading digital platforms including Body & Soul, Women’s Health, Mamamia and news.com.au.
Her first book, The ‘Bad’ Girl’s Guide To Better was published in 2021 to a flurry of press as she delivered crucial health messaging in an entertaining and easily digestible format. This modern-day ‘bible’ offers a hilarious and poignant take on growing through some of our worst behaviours to step into a better, brighter future. Her second book is in the works, due for release in 2025 and she hosts podcast and publication Next Of Kin - a conversation about how we can take better care of ourselves and the people we love.
Whether it's improving the health literacy of the public or educating an audience of doctors, she is often called upon to act as a conduit between clinician and consumer and is respected and loved by consumers and clinicians alike.
Her mission is to help bridge the illusive gap between knowledge and action, applying a personal development lens to public health issues. She shines hosting both public-focused health programs as well as educational events for health care professionals, a skill she has applied to great acclaim for brands such as Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Danone and Johnson & Johnson. Currently studying her Master of Public Health via the Monash School Of Medicine, Casey is particularly passionate about the care landscape in Australia for patients, practitioners and providers of care.
She has a unique ability to weave together stories from evidence, experts and the all-important patient voice, and is a natural in the role of facilitator for any type of health and wellbeing event, as well as a wildly entertaining and relatable keynote speaker.
Casey is available for keynote speaking, medical facilitation and MC work, presenting, event hosting, brand partnerships and content creation.
